2004 - The dawn of innovation
Founded in 2004, Axe Finance began its journey with a vision to revolutionize credit risk automation. Starting with a dedicated team of three in a compact 40sqm office, our mission was clear: to enhance the lending process with cutting-edge technology. Our commitment to creating a seamless and efficient omnichannel experience set the foundation for our first successes.
2008 - Trailblazing the credit lifecycle
Our journey gained momentum with the launch of the first version of Axe Credit Portal software in 2008. This innovation automated the entire credit lifecycle, marking a significant leap forward in our industry. As our team expanded to ten and we moved into a larger 120sqm office, we celebrated early victories, including key deals in Africa and the Middle East.
2010 - Expanding horizons
With the introduction of Axe Credit Portal V2 in 2010, we further solidified our position as a market leader. Strategic sales partnerships and an expanding customer base fueled our growth, necessitating a larger workspace to accommodate our evolving needs. Our focus on innovation and client success drove our progress during this exciting phase.
2015 - A new era of growth
In 2015, the unveiling of ACP V6 marked a new chapter at Axe Finance. We also launched the Customer Success and Marketing departments and started our initial forays into Europe and Asia. Our team’s expansion and the move to a spacious 700sqm office underscored our commitment to scaling our operations and enhancing our global reach.
2018 - Innovation amidst challenges
Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic in 2018, Axe Finance continued to thrive. The launch of ACP V8, coupled with the expansion of our Product teams, demonstrated our resilience and adaptability. Achieving ISO 27001 certification highlighted our dedication to security and excellence, while our ability to conduct remote Go-Lives for ACP showcased our flexibility in serving clients under any circumstances.
2024 - Two decades of triumph
Today, as we celebrate 20 years of success, Axe Finance stands as a testament to innovation, growth, and global impact. Our journey from a startup to a leading force in lending technology, with a presence on four continents and a team of 270 professionals, is a source of immense pride. The introduction of ACP V9 and the recognition from industry giants further cement our position at the forefront of lending tech innovation.
